Crystal Brookter is the Lead Coordinator for Black to The Future. She graduated from CSU Fresno with her Bachelors Degree in Social Work. She has over 15 years of experience working with at risk youth and giving back to the community in different capacities. She believes anyone can make a change at any point in time in their life, as long as they are willing and open to be their most vulnerable selves.

Kierra Smith is a San Francisco native; born and raised in Bayview Hunter's Point. She is a proud alumna of Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she studied Mass Communications, Public Relations.
Ms. Smith is currently Black to the Future's Academic Support serving African American at-risk youth in the San Francisco Unified School District. It is her passion to not only provide that one on one support with work in the classroom but to provide love and consistency to those students who don't receive that within their families. Being able to help these students overcome many barriers that hinder their education, brings so much joy and fulfillment to Ms. Smith.
She strongly believes that it takes a village to raise a child. Meaning it takes an entire community of people interacting with a child in positive ways for that child to experience and grow in a safe environment.

Lakeisha Franks

Stetson Hines is a San Francisco native born and raised in the Bay View Hunters Point community.
Stetson attended Northern Virginia College where he majored in secondary education. In which he has continued his diligent work serving at-risk youth here in San Francisco.
In addition in Stetson spare time he enjoys street photography, clothing design, and traveling. He believes in the beauty life presents through the imagination of our minds.
